Mrs. Schelequia Davis is a seasoned Human Resources Specialist with the Department of the Army, bringing both military discipline and compassionate leadership to her role. An Army veteran, she holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Leadership, along with certifications in Conflict Management and Life Coaching. Her professional expertise is matched by a deep commitment to empowering others—especially women—to embrace their God-given purpose.Since 2008, Mrs. Davis has been a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY, where she serves as Chairperson of the Sisterhood Ministry and Food Pantry Ministry, and is an active member of the Jail/Prison Ministry. Her faith-driven leadership extends beyond the church walls into the broader community.She is a proud member of several professional and civic organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Stars, Prince Hall Affiliated (PHA), the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Directors for Girls United #Gamechanger. In recognition of her service and impact, she was honored as a Kentucky Colonel in 2008 by Governor Steven L. Beshear.Her philanthropic heart is also seen in the establishment of two scholarships at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College: • The Timothy M. Sessoms Memorial Scholarship, honoring her late son• The Walking With Purpose Scholarship Mrs. Davis and her husband, Rev. Shawn Davis, reside in Elizabethtown, KY, and are the proud parents of five children and two granddaughters. Her unwavering dedication to professionalism, mentorship, and community service continues to inspire all who know her.
